Some drops become legends.
Between 2014 and 2016, Zeus Collegiate released four limited-edition hats under The Tiger Collection (ZC x TTC) banner. Every release was officially licensed. Every release sold out. And with the exception of a single restock of the original design, none have returned.
These weren't mass-produced caps sitting on shelves for months. They were limited runs created specifically for Pacific Tigers fans who wanted something different — something that represented the university with premium materials, thoughtful details, and streetwear-inspired design.
If you weren't around for these releases, you may have missed them. But that doesn't mean you have to miss the next one.
Here's a look back at the four ZC x TTC hats that helped define an era of University of the Pacific Tigers headwear.
1. Tommy Tiger O.G. Snapback — The Beginning of It All
Released in June 2014, the Tommy Tiger O.G. was the hat that launched the ZC x TTC collection. More than just the first release, it established the design language that future drops would build upon.
The cap featured a black dome paired with a Pacific Orange bill, while subtle black tiger stripes hidden beneath the visor — a detail only the wearer truly appreciated. On the back, Pacific was embroidered in orange above a matching snap closure, while The Tiger Collection logo appeared in white on the left panel.
Officially licensed and built with a memory visor and adjustable fit, the O.G. quickly became the cornerstone of the collection for University of the Pacific Tigers fans.
It sold out on its initial release. Zeus Collegiate later brought it back for one final restock — and that sold out too.

2. Powercat Study Break Snapback — Bold by Design
When the Powercat Study Break dropped in October 2014, it took the opposite approach of the O.G.
Instead of black leading the design, Pacific Orange became the centerpiece. The bright orange crown was paired with a perforated black leather upper visor and black wool under visor, creating one of the boldest hats the collection ever produced for Pacific Tigers fans.
The back featured Tigers embroidered in black above a matching snap closure, while The Tiger Collection logo appeared on the left panel. Available exclusively through Zeus Collegiate, this release never appeared anywhere else.
What collectors remember most is the material combination. The mix of leather and wool gave the Powercat a look and feel unlike anything else in the University of the Pacific Tigers headwear lineup.
Like every ZC x TTC release, once it was gone, it was gone.

3. Tommy Tiger Game Changer Snapback — A Hat That Lived Up to Its Name
Released in June 2015, the Game Changer introduced something entirely new to the collection: 3M™ reflective material.
At first glance, the visor appeared as a dark charcoal gray. But when light hit it directly, it transformed into a brilliant silver reflection. It was a subtle detail in daylight and a showstopper after dark.
The black wool snapback cap dome kept the look clean and understated, while hidden details added contrast: neon orange Pacific embroidery beneath the visor and dark charcoal back embroidery above the snap closure.
The Game Changer proved that a Pacific Tigers snapback could push beyond traditional collegiate headwear and experiment with new materials and technology. Collectors who secured one knew immediately it was different.

4. Grey Matter 3M™ UOP Snapback — The Peak of the Collection
The final ZC x TTC release arrived in June 2016 and remains the most technically detailed hat of the entire collection.
The Grey Matter combined a medium grey suiting fabric crown with a 3M™ reflective visor that shifted from soft grey to bright silver under direct light. A neon orange under visor provided contrast, while additional details elevated the design even further.
On the back sat black Tigers embroidery above a clear frost and neon orange snap closure. Neon orange metal eyelets and a matching Zeus Collegiate logo completed the look.
Suiting fabric. Reflective technology. Premium hardware.
The Grey Matter represented the evolution of everything ZC x TTC had learned over four releases — and fittingly, it closed out the collection for University of the Pacific Tigers fans.

Don't Miss the Next Drop
Four releases. Four sellouts.
A decade later, Pacific Tigers fans still talk about these hats because they represented something bigger than merchandise. They represented school pride done differently.
There are no guarantees about when the next drop will happen. No public countdown. No endless inventory.
But when Zeus Collegiate releases something new for University of the Pacific Tigers fans, members of ZC Nation will hear about it first — before general release and before another chapter of Tigers history disappears.
Because every legendary drop eventually becomes a story.
The question is: will you be wearing the next one, or reading about it later?
